When Sarah and Kyle came to the Pottery Store and asked to set up a Bridal Registry I was eager to know more about them in order to better understand the kind of pots they might like to have for their home. Needless to say I was also impressed that they were choosing to accessorize their new, shared common space with work by a neighbor craftsman. While talking with them to better understand their fundamental aesthetic I realized that they were precisely the people my pots are made for: hard-working, independent thinkers that have an intrinsic sensibility about Quality (with a capital Q). When they reach for a mug or cereal bowl they want it to feel generous and substantial. They like to entertain but also lead busy weekday lives as young professionals. They have a quiet but undeniable belief that there is value in being connected to their community and find many ways to support this fragile network. They are the kind of couple that define modern America and I am proud to know that my work speaks to them with sufficient eloquence.



Having said all of that there are still a few details you should know about the pots you see below. Firstly Sarah and Kyle have carefully chosen the quantities and decorations so please read each caption carefully as I've tried to explain (and stay current with sales activity) so they receive the correct styles and patterns in the proper amounts. I will update each selection if it sells out and identify which patterns are still available for purchase. If you'd like us to send them a Note on your behalf you can type it into the Order Notes as you checkout. There will be no shipping charge as we will deliver these gifts to them when they are ready to receive them.
